These are the terms for using the Photo Impostor app and photoimpostor.com. By playing, you agree to them. They are written to be read; if anything is unclear, ask us through Send feedback in the app.
The beta
Photo Impostor is in beta. Features change, rooms can close, and results or profiles may be reset between versions. The app is provided as is, without warranties, and we are not liable for losses that come from using it, to the extent the law allows.
Your photos and clues
You keep every right to the photos and videos you share. By approving a batch you give us permission to store and show those photos to the players in your room for the duration of the game, and to delete them afterwards as described in the privacy policy. Share only what you have the right to share and what you would show to the people at your table.
House rules
- No photos, clips, names or clues that are sexual, hateful, violent, or that target a real person.
- No photos of other people who would not want to be in a game.
- No attempts to break the game, access other rooms, or extract photos from the service.
- Public rooms include strangers. Play there as you would in a public place.
Players can report a photo or a player from inside a game. We may remove content and close accounts that break these rules, without notice.
Accounts
A guest account is created on your device. You must be at least 13 years old to play. You can delete your account in Settings at any time; this removes your profile, friends, results and stored photos.
Photo Impostor+
Photo Impostor+ is a one-time purchase made through the App Store or Google Play and is subject to their terms and refund policies. It unlocks features inside the app and does not transfer between platforms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
