Photo Impostor account deletion instructions
Deletion is permanent. Photo Impostor creates a guest account on your device. You can delete that account from inside the app at any time.
Delete it in the app
- Open Photo Impostor on the device where your account is active.
- On the Home screen, tap the gear to open Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Choose a reason if asked, then confirm Delete account.
What deletion removes
The deletion request removes your profile, friends, statistics, push token, and stored uploaded photos. A copy of a photo or clip reported for safety may be retained for up to 30 days for moderation. Your player data is also scrubbed from the service's room records as part of the request. The request cannot be undone.
Deleting your Photo Impostor account does not cancel a subscription. If you have Photo Impostor+, manage or cancel it in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
Can’t open the app?
Email support@photoimpostor.com with the subject “Account deletion request” and tell us that you cannot complete the in-app deletion steps. This is a request for help with deleting your Photo Impostor guest account.
Because guest accounts are tied to a device, support may need to verify the request using information already associated with the account. If the account cannot be verified, we may not be able to locate or delete it. We do not provide anonymous account recovery by email.
